Operation Christmas Child

A small shoebox can teach a child about the love of God, lead him or her to faith in Christ, inspire pastors, and plant new churches. What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out is eternal. Be a part of changing lives through the power of a simple gift.

Watch for the Samaritan's Purse Operation Christmas Child annual "Christmas Shoe Box Project." Fill your box with a variety of gifts that will please a child, including small toys, candy, clothing, toiletry items, puzzles, coloring books, crayons, etc. The box should be standard size and gift wrapped, but still be able to open and see coontents. Also, we can use all the extra shoe boxes we can get.

If you are too busy or unable to get everything together for your shoe box, let us help! Just make your check payable to Brent Baptist Church - Noting on your check that it is for "Christmas Shoeboxes" (you will receive your tax credit). Then just drop your check in the offering plate or take it to the church office. In November, we will have a commencement during a morning and evening service. Afterwards, the children and youth will load the boxes onto the church van for transport to Atlanta. Should you have any questions, please contact the church office.
