To make disciple-making disciples of Jesus Christ from Brent to Beijing and everywhere in between.

Our Strategy

Here in our local church context, we seek to accomplish our mission in four ways:

  • Proclaiming the Word
  • Making Disciples of Members
  • Engaging with others to Make Disciples of Non-Members
  • Caring for People
  • We Proclaim the Word of God

We believe…“The Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments were given by inspiration of God, and are the only sufficient, certain, and authoritative rule of all saving knowledge, faith, and obedience.”

Therefore, we publicly or formally proclaim the Word of God for the sake of the maturity of the saints (Col. 1:28), and the salvation of the lost (Rom. 10:5-17), or, as our Constitution states it: “For Public Worship, Instruction, and Evangelism.”

  • We Make Disciples of our Members

  • We Seek to Engage and Make Disciples of Non-Members

Today, we seek to engage the people in our community and around the world with the gospel through our Giving (Southern Baptist Convention Cooperative Program, Annie Armstrong, Lottie Moon, and Myers-Mallory State Missions Offerings), Praying (Wednesday Night Prayer Meetings, Special Day of Payer and Fasting), and Going (Caring Partners International Medical Missions Team). We also take part in Operation Christmas Child every year as a regional drop-off point and with our own major box collection.

  • We Care for People with the Love of Jesus

Today, we seek to care for our church and surrounding community through the ministry of our Deacons, our Caring Center Ministry, our Benevolence Ministry, and our Relay for Life team ministry.
